jim fucking carrey
I love Jim Carrey. I once met him in a 7/11, and I was getting a soda, I turned and saw it was him, and he saw I was going for a Doctor Pepper, so he said “Oh did you want one of these”, to which I stuttered out a yes and he grabbed all of them and said “too bad” and brought them up to the front. Then he bought his stuff and left the sodas there, and left. Almost immediately after, he ran back in and began putting the sodas back and paid for mine.
have you ever stayed up late with someone texting or chatting and known as the hours ticked by that you’d be ridiculously tired in the morning but it didnt matter because it was really fun and totally worth losing sleep over just to laugh with someone and enjoy their company maybe and then the next day you keep tiredly recalling how much fun it was while you’re falling asleep in class and that makes it not so bad that you’re tired anymore

Tues: reunion with my main girl Yolanda in which we cry and laugh over her boys and squeal over cute outfits and jam to Ariana Grande #standard Then at 6, movie hangs with Redden cos he won tickets to a screening, the movie was eh (and wow smallest cinema ever) but nandos feed afterwards was A+ cos good food and good company.
And hahahaha redden getting black ink all over his face cos of the newspaper he was rifling through is classic example of why he is so lame. Fact.
Also took the wrong bus home at like 10 at night and was nearly crying cos so lost and last buses around that time and everyone i know working and unavailable but then found my way home. Thankyou google maps and kind bus driver on the RZ5.
Thurs: Janelle and Kath date! Long awaited catch up with these two girls. Kath left for the Phils this monday and she’s gone for 7 weeks. Seriously everyone is leaving for holidays. Introduced them to Fancy Burger and they fell in love. And taro bubble tea from the new Easy Way place. So good. #candid #lorax
Sat: After moping around the whole day about not being able to go, I actually ended up going to Tino’s bday gath around 11.30, pre drinks and karaoke for a while. Typical. Then headed to HQ with bday boy, Ate Kristine, Raph, Vincent, Nick and Chris at like 12 and see half of the Asian community. But like heaps good cos it was the half I actually liked haha. It was so so good seeing the girls from high school like wow didn’t realise how much I missed them and also my other boys as well. :33 So many hugs and big hugs all around! :D And um me and pretty boy aka guy i crushed on for like a month grinding on each other for the whole night. #thethirst like over him cos yawn but just loool um left at 4.30am then hung around tino’s house til we realised the sun was up and that hey, we should sleep. So Raph took Chris, Nick and I home cos we all wanted our own beds.
"Quite honestly the thing that interests me the most about her relationships with Gale and Peeta is that they’re completely organic to the situations. That in the beginning of Catching Fire, she wants to forget her time in the games and go on with her regular life, which means she will be pushing herself away from Peeta because he’s a reminder of the Games, and growing closer to her childhood friend Gale because he reminds her of home. But when she’s thrown back into the Games, she’s pulled away from Gale and pushed back towards Peeta, because she finds comfort in him having shared the trauma of the Games. But I never, for one minute, think that she sits around debating who she likes better.
She doesn’t have time for it."

Someone replied to my post about Peeta’s unconventional masculinity saying that, in fact, Katniss and Peeta merely interchange the roles of action hero and damsel in distress, without acknowledging how problematic those roles are, because Peeta’s strengths are portrayed as weaknesses.
